Ein vom Schreibstil etwas ungewöhnlicher coming-of-age Roman, mit vielen lustigen und auch peinlichen Momenten. Der Stil tut der Story jedoch keinen Abbruch. Noah ist ein absolut liebenswerter Charakter. Die Schule und sein Zuhause sind für ihn die Hölle, gefühlsmäßig herrscht völliges Chaos. Halt geben ihm nur sein bester Freund Harry und seine demenzkranke Großmutter. Noahs Verhalten konnte ich manchmal nicht nachvollziehen und wollte ihn einfach nur kräftig schütteln. Doch letztendlich fieberte ich bei der Geschichte richtig mit und hoffte einfach nur, dass er mal zur Ruhe kommen kann. Ich bin richtig froh, dass ich dank des zweiten Buches "Noah Could Never" sofort erfahre, wie es mit Noah weitergeht.
I'm sorry but this book was the most irritating, unreasonable piece of literature i've remembered reading. I mean it had its funny parts, i'll give it that and i really like how the end is handled but apart from that i just really didn't enjoy this book. I was suffering from second hand embarrassment throughout the entire book and i rarely dislike a chracter as much as i dislike Noah. But not to put you off, it may be a enjoyable read for you if you're okay with that sort of stuff but its just not for me.
